Pre-school through 6th Grade Sunday School Program
Sunday school is held each Sunday between services from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
Our preschool sunday school class is for children ages 3-5. The kids meet in the sanctuary for 15 minutes of singing (Cherub Choir) before heading down to their classroom with their teacher. Each Sunday they are introduced to a bible story, have craft time and sometimes a snack. Our preschool classroom is child-friendly and parents are always welcome to sit in with their child.
For kindergarten through fourth grade we offer a rotational sunday school program. The kids spend four sundays learning the same lesson or bible story before moving onto the next lesson. Each of the four sundays are spent in a different themed room so they learn the same story in different ways. The four rooms we currently offer are Temple, Theater, Art, and Computer. This keeps the story interesting while giving the kids the repetition in order to retain the story and it's meaning/lesson. The kids really enjoy our rotation style sunday school and seem to do well retaining the lessons. The kids also participate in choir for fifteen minutes of the sunday school hour (Cherub Choir and Kids of the Kingdom Choir).
Our fifth and sixth grade students meet in our next door parish house each sunday. The two grades meet together for a quick game, lesson time in small groups, and end the hour with 15 minutes of choir in the sanctuary (Kids of the Kingdom). The sunday school curriculum used with this class is a good transition from the rotation program to the jr. high program as these kids are ready for deeper discussion and a focus on handling real-life issues from a christian standpoint.
Choir
We have two children's choirs which meet for practice each sunday:
Cherub Choir: Preschool - 2nd grade
Kids of the Kingdom: 3rd - 6th grade

Matthew 28:18-20
“Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
